Deadlift technique practice

Before Loading up a bar and trying to pull it off the floor drill down on your technique first! This is all about pattern recognition and training the neuro-muscular system to activate in the correct sequence and keep you injury free. You should really have someone instruct you and be able to correct you from the start as it takes A LOT longer to correct bad behaviour than it does to learn a good one.

Some people might start learning with a pvc pipe or wooden dowel but I personally like a small load to give a stimulus to react to. This learning period could take one session or it could take one month but it will be worth it once you can integrate new exercises and remain fit and healthy.
